Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

As much as I appreciate the use of grammar in the teaching of ESL, don't you think this unit is way over the top on a \"need to know basis\" for all cultures TRYING to learn English. Not even I would attempt to use this lesson in any shape or form as it is too complicated...even for me to digest, let alone teach to a group of foreign students. In past units I learned more about how to teach certain things and what specifically to teach. In this unit I learned how students learn. This was very interesting for me, as I was gaining insight into how I myself learned certain things as I was reading about learning, so pausing for introspection certainly became part of the lesson for me.
