In this chapter I found the engagement section to be useful. As an educator it's important to get your students attention and give them an icebreaker prior to starting an activity. This will allow to students to destress, relax and feel more comfortable learning a foreign language. It will also build a bond with fellow classmates and the teacher.This unit was packed full of difficult concepts. I regularly use modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice, but have not thought about why, how, and under what circumstances I use each of these grammar concepts. Therefore, this unit was essential as a refresher/review. As a teacher, I have to be able to explain the 'why' behind each grammar concept.
