Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. This unit is about equipment and teaching aids. I have learned that there are multiple forms of teaching aids that can add interest to a lesson. Each teaching aid requires their own preparation and a back-up plan in case certain equipment does not work. Computers, for instance, have multiple uses but can also stop working in the middle of a lesson.I absolutely loved this section and working with Phonetic Script. I find it absolutely fascinating as it is a part of English I have hardly ever explored. It was such an interesting section to find out more about our mouths and the process it takes to make sounds that generate our everyday communication. I can't wait to learn more about this topic!
