I learned that in order to help students with their spelling and to be conscious of different types of spelling across the different types of English (English/American), it is helpful from them to build their receptive skill of reading. I also learned that pronunciation can help students with reading and writing, not just speaking and listening.I loved this unit and the whole course. It will help me a lot in becoming a great teacher. I am so glad I took this course. It taught me more than in all my years going to college. It was so detailed and went right to the point.
