This unity was useful to refresh my basics on lesson planning. I can write a lesson plan anticipating potential problems and setting real goals for both students and myself. Planning a lesson is very important in order to have a record of the material that was taught as well as provide a precious tool for replacing teachers, in case I can't hold a lesson. I was able to understand how important the us of books can be, in fact, books are crucial to have a solid basics and get some new ideas for lessons but it is also essential to adapt certain materials to different students and groups. Classroom management is also a must to know, eye contact, gesture and teacher position need to be taken into account. Finally,I'm now perfectly able to understand the beneficial use of authentic materials.
