During this lesson I learned about ? Engage, Study and Activate? method. I learned the difference between ?Straight Arrow? ESA lesson ( Engage-Study-Activate), ?Boomerang? ESA lesson (Engage-Activate1- Study-Activate 2) and ?Patchwork? ESA lesson (Engage-Activate-Activate-Study-Activate-Engage-Study-Activate). I learned different activities for engage phase ( introduction prompts, fizz-buzz, alphabet relay, memory games, anagrams, adjectival introductions and etc), study phase (tongue twisters, hangman, word searches, gap fill) and activate phase (role-play, surveys, communication games, story building, debate). I learned different correction techniques (self, correction, student-student correction and teacher-student correction) and ways of using them.
