The videos presented in the unit were very useful. They summarize many of the previous units in particular classroom management and lesson planning. There is a stark contrast between the teacher's attitude in the two videos and this greatly impacts the students' participation and understanding of the material. In my opinion, the class in the first video was not successful at all as the students do not appear to have learned anything and all seem very confused. The main improvements I observed in the second video are the attitude of the teacher, his speech and use of gestures. He is pleasant and engaging. His speech is clearer and he uses gestures to clarify what he is saying. He is also better prepared, for example, he had a completed drawing to show the class at the start of the activate exercise.
