These two videos were helpful in that we were able to witness the actual lessons as they were happening. One video showed us things that we should try to avoid doing, as a teacher. While the other gave better examples of how to interact and present a lesson to a classroom. In the first video, the teacher kept his back to the class and wrote on the board for long periods of time. This may cause the students to become bored or disinterested, as it was evident from watching that video. In the second video, the instructor was much more engaging with the classroom. He smiled at the students and had a much better rapport with them. His students were much more interested in participating in the lesson. I found it very helpful to be able to see a teacher in action and teaching a lesson in the classroom.
