This unit talks about the advantages and disadvantages of using course books and the difference between authentic and created materials for supplementary course work. I found the example materials useful as well as the guide on how to choose an adequate coursebook that tailors to the needs of each particular group.I felt like the information concerning methodology was helpful in understanding why we plan lessons in a particular way. However, I did feel like it bogged down the unit as a whole. Learning the different kinds of lesson plans was very helpful though, and it gave me a lot of ideas on how to interact with the class.
