This unit taught me the foundations of teaching speaking and writing to students in an effective way. I learned how to structure my lessons when teaching these productive skills and example activities that I could use in the classroom. I feel more prepared now having a model to work with when I teach these topics.A lesson plan is probably the best preparation tool a teacher has at his or her disposal. The thought provocating process is essential to a good lesson. Also, by continuously modifying and improving the lesson plan and revising the structure of class one is sure of finding the best balance between fun and teaching.
