Throughout this unit I have been able to learn, understand and practice the use of the present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous tenses. As an ESL teacher, it is important to have clear knowledge of verb tenses in order to explain and provide accurate examples to our students.In this unit I learned the importance of the different types of testing that is useful in determining a students language level. Certain tests at different stages can help with lesson planning and knowing when to spend longer times on the things that the students are struggling with. Overall I really liked this unit.
