In the unit, it covered the grammatical form of the sentence, the usage and gave teaching ideas. As with the present tenses, it is good to revisit the usages of each tense. It makes you think more about each sentence and realising when they should be used. Learning more about the tenses, is making me analyse our language more on a day to day basis. I benefited most from learning about the usages for each tense as this is something that I just know, but don't really remember learning. Of course, it is always good to learn about the teaching ideas for each tense as well and it is helping me to collate a list for each tense for the activate stage of the lesson.
