This unit gives the learner an introduction to the variety of qualities a good teacher should possess. It also outlines the variety of roles a teacher will play in order to motivate, assess and monitor a students progress. The unit also gives an outline of the difference between adult learners and young learners and the challenges and advantages they bring. English learners can be categorised into 6 different levels that can be labeled in multiple forms, both formal and more casual. I believe the most valuable aspect of this unit for me was the \"Roles of a Teacher\". This aspect gave me an in-depth view of what a teacher needs to be seen as in the classroom.
