Unit 2 focused on some of the different teaching and learning methods that can be utilized in the classroom. The material also gave insight to how languages, both native and non-native, are developed and acquired. Very in-depth information was provided on what to include in our lessons, depending on age and so on; what can be expected from the teacher, and the different roles that teacher can take on. The lesson also explained the importance of the student?s physical learning environment, e.g. table placement. Upon reaching the end of this lesson I felt that I had gained a sufficient amount of knowledge, and I eagerly look forward to the upcoming lessons.
