I found that I learnt from this unit a very useful skilll and technique which I can not only apply in a school learning sitatuon, but in any sort of working/training situation which requires a team leader or facilitator. Understanding how to organise and manage a class, and dealing with a range of personalities is important to ensure effective learning for all students. The ability to build rapport and connection and also to ensure discipline and firmness is a balancing act which needs thorough strategy and confidence. The maintaining discipline section is an area which I found very useful as it unruly behaviours which essentially can disrupt and ruin a lesson.
