In this unit, we learned about the different tests/evaluations students will take throughout the process of learning English. There are five different types of tests: 1.placement tests, 2. diagnostic tests, 3. progress tests, 4. practice tests and 5. external examinations. This unit also explains the different types of external examinations students can take, and what each of these evaluations is geared towards. There are many different standardized tests that students can take and, therefore, I think it is really important that the teachers know which one their students are working towards when they are choosing the material they will use in their lesson plan.
