I have learned that some methods are still used while others are not anymore but the ESA method has proved to be the most effective. It has taught me the importance of being positive all the time and speak only English while the class time. In the Engage Stage is all about focusing on having fun, everybody participating, generating a special interest in what we are going to teach. Study Stage is where we teach words, concepts and forms to students making everybody participate, using elicitation, drilling and correct only after they have finished. Activate Stage is where we encourage creativity, they work in groups and participate with feedback and demonstration.
