This unit is about different types of equipment that can be found in the classroom as well as different teaching aids. Over the years technology has become more advanced, the use of overhead projectors, interactive whiteboards and computers which can bring a wide variety of subjects, songs, videos and pictures to the classroom. However not all schools have or can afford such equipment and use white/black boards and/or cassette/cd/dvd players instead. When using technology it is important that the teacher knows how to use the equipment and make sure it is working properly. Unfortunately technology is not always reliable so it is always good to have a back up plan.
