I learned about managing classes and the different ways to group and arrange students in the classroom. This chapter also explained the pros and cons between grouping students in whole classes, individuals, and pairwork. I learned that pairwork increases student to student talk time and I believe it's the most efficient and comfortable method for students to learn. It definitely gives a chance for students to share ideas and correct each other while in pairs or small groups. The discipline section also taught me some ways to control discipline in the classroom. This would be very useful when I first start to teach and learn how to manage and control my classroom.
