This unit covered a great number of things, including conditionals and reported/direct speech. There was extremely detailed information provided regarding the types of conditionals (zero through third in addition to mixed) and the various nuances associated with both reported and direct speech. I felt that this unit was particularly useful because I would not have been able to expound upon these things in class prior to this point because I was ignorant of them. The teaching ideas were also helpful in that they gave me a more concrete idea as to how I could explain these rather difficult subjects in a less overwhelming manner.
