Unit 19 was titled 'Teaching Special Groups.' The unit discussed teaching beginners, teaching children, and teaching adults. The unit highlighted effective ways to teach and helpful materials in each of the previously stated groups. I thought that the unit did a great job of discussing how to teach adults who are learning English for business purposes. Throughout this entire course, I have always been applying the material to a children's classroom so it was good to review an adult classroom setting in great depth. I learned a lot about teaching adults English in the pages that discussed needs analysis and prospective clients.
