Unit 9 focused on the issue of lesson planning. While some folks think lesson planning is unnecessary because it can be rigid and inflexible, this unit showed the benefits of planning lessons. Topics such as being organized and writing lesson plans were discussed. Teaching aids, anticipating problems that students and teacher may encounter, along with solutions, learners and teacher objectives, timing and interaction, were looked at. A sample of a standard lesson plan was given, as well as a self evaluation form and a questionnaire. For the section on grammar, we saw the present perfect simple , discussed and exercises given.
