This unit covered the different types and levels of tests that are used to evaluate students throughout their individual courses. It covered when each exam should be given, in order to be most effective for the students. It also outlined the most common external exams that students take and what each external exam is used for, such as Cambridge's Skills For Life exam that is aimed at immigrants who have recently moved to the UK. The unit also provided information on what teachers are able to do with their students test scores, in order to benefit and assist the students, and plan future classes around their gaps of information.
