In this unit, I really appreciated this unit as it emphasized the importance of establishing rules and expectations in the beginning of the course. As I near the end of this TEFL course, I am realizing more and more that teaching is not an easy task. There is so much to think about! It seems that the most important thing is to have the students speak, listen, practice, and use as much English in the classroom as possible. The teaching methods, activities, theories are all great resources to refer to in order to ensure that the classroom is engaging and exciting as students are exposed to the English language during every class!
