It was helpful to reflect upon what makes a good student, teacher, and the techniques both employ in the classroom in order to learn/teach. Having clarity over the differing techniques that will assist a student, both with respect to proficiency, attitudes, and motivations as well as insecurities and anxieties, helped me gain insight. I see that clear expectation, objectives, for myself and my students will only help us learn together. I will improve particular techniques of teaching I employee in order to better facilitate and guide my students learning in the future. I will also explain clearly my expectations for my students.
