Unit 14 talks about the use of coursebooks and materials in teaching students. This unit provides examples of the materials that a teacher can use in enhancing the teaching and learning process of the students. In this unit, I learned about the use of wipe board, visual aids, worksheets, work cards, cassette, CD/DVD, video, dictionaries, resource books, and coursebooks. I also learned ways on how to use them in the classroom. Moreover, I was able to learn that a teacher can actually delete, replace, supplement and/or adapt the use of coursebooks. Lastly, I was able to point the differences between authentic and created materials.
