The difference between fluency and accuracy was made very clear within this chapter. It was good to note that accuracy is principally required during the engage and study phase while fluency is practiced during the activate phase. The correct method of giving feedback to students after speaking activities was made quite clear. The idea is to focus on what they can do and where they can improve rather than discouraging the student by focusing on their weak points and what they can not do. As for writing, it was made very clear to consider the first language of the student because this may have an impact on their writing abilities.
