Unit 7 introduces techniques for teaching vocabulary, grammatical structures, and language functions to students. It suggests possible formats of lesson plans for each specific category, possible activities for each phase of the lesson, as well as general objectives for students to focus on. This unit made it clear that in order to teach each class to the best of my ability, I will have to use my intuition and assessment of the student's capabilities. Some of these strategies will work with some students, while others will absorb the language better in other ways, and its up to me to actively provide the right materials for them.
