This unit, number 14, on books and materials, using authentic materials and creative materials, was an interesting unit. I liked the ideas and examples of how and what to use for created materials. When I taught Drama at the intermediate level, I mainly used created materials of my own and from TV shows like Who's Line Is It Anyway? or from movies from Robin Williams or Jim Carey. I also used authentic materials from books dealing specifically with teaching Drama and scene selections. Balance is needed and is important, especially when teaching English to ESL students. This was a helpful and remindful unit.
