In this unit I learned the difference between the authentic materials and created materials that can be used during a class. The authentic materials I believe will be more effective because they will be relevant and more current. Hence, the students will be interested and understand quicker. Where as the created materials might take more time to explain in order for the students to understand. The crosswords, word search, flash cards, etc,. that were given in this unit are very helpful and have given me a better understanding for the types of created materials that can be effective in teaching.
