This unit gave me a more clear understanding of the teachers importance. Without a teacher that has close to a smile and presents a feeling of teaching with passion and happiness the students will become scared of making mistakes, the effekt of that will be a class that won't their english knowledge and they will eventulally stop coming to class.Unit 3 covered different teaching methods that have been historically used. It then covered a combination method that incorporates the best parts of many of the methods outlined. The unit instruction was concise, yet thorough in giving a clear picture of how to plan a class period. Lots of ideas were given for getting the students to participate.
