Most of the work covered in this lesson was familiar to me. I was however surprised by some of the grammatical systems that I wasn't aware or at least conscious of. For example, the 'gernund' and the order of adjectives in a sentence when describing something. I found it interesting how most of the grammar points and examples seemed obvious, in fact as a first year ALT I find that many of my answers to English grammar questions is 'because it sounds correct' or 'that's just how it is'. I am happy I that I am now beginning to get an understanding of the of the English Language which will not only benefit me but my students as well.
