Assessing students' progress should be a continuing and prioritized effort by the teacher. Only then can the teacher see the gaps in knowledge and focus on covering them or giving more attention to the needy students. Tests, although they may bring stress to students, is a very effective way to evaluate if the students have grasped the learning points. This unit has also exposed me to the various numerous tests available worldwide, like the KET, PET, BULATS, TOEFL, BEC, CPE, etc.
