The unit talked about the key components of managing a classroom and going into detail about teacher behavior/actions, classroom set-up and the pros and cons of the various ways to split up the class for activities. The points mentioned for writing on the board was a nice refresher and I especially liked the tips provided on how to minimize the amount of unnecessary TTT and maximize the STT. This unit really did cover all the key aspects of setting and maintaining control of the classroom while still providing flexibility to make the learning environment welcoming and effective for the teacher and more importantly, the students.
