Unit Ten contains two video samples of English language lessons. Both employ elements of the Engage, Study, Activate method, but they are each met with very different responses. The class is not rude or disrespectful in either lesson. Their language abilities don't change between lessons. The difference is made largely by the teacher's attitude. The teach speaks far too quickly in the first lesson and puts the students down for not understanding. The second lesson sets students up to succeed. The instructions are clear and the level of the first activity is right for the students. The teacher celebrates the students' achievements.
