Listening and reading are very important skills for students. I enjoyed the example lessons and activities. For example, I liked the activity of making biographies and having other students guess who each person may be. Also, it is good to be reminded that material should engage as many students as possible. However, in my current position, I am not in the role of choosing the material. The challenge comes from making existing material (which can honestly be quite boring for everyone) as exciting and relatable as possible. I look forward to my next teaching position in which I can choose the materials according to student interest.
