I found that this unit gave good insight to what makes a good teacher as well as a good listener. A good teacher cares about the success and the learning of the student. A good learner is one who is motivated and is encouraged. I have also learned about the roles of a teacher, there are different roles that a teacher can take and they need to know when to dominate/lead as well as when to withdraw and let the students work individually. There needs to personality from a teacher as well as a good relationship between the student and teacher. Age can be a factor in the learning process as well which needs to be taken into account.
