Unit 8 has covered the future tenses, including the future simple, future continuous, future perfect, and future perfect continuous. The \"going to\" tense, as well as the future applications for the present simple and present continuous tenses were also discussed. Activate stage teaching ideas were provided for each tense, and we were encouraged to make our own. The \"going to\" tense was a bit of a revelation for me. It is used so often in common language that to be able to give students the distinction between forming a future simple, future continuous or \"going to\" future sentence, especially for predictions, seems invaluable.
