In my limited years of experience of teaching in a classroom, I have used almost all of the teaching equipment mentioned in the unit, with the exception of the IWB. I have only seen pictures of it, but the limited funding in my schools have excluded the use of such. Frankly, I feel traditional methods far outweigh the need for an IWB other than to simply focus attention for the lower level or disinterested students. The other forms of equipment are quite understandable and while I have not consciously considered the positives and negatives of the tools at hand, I have always tried to use appropriate equipment for the lesson at hand.
