This chapter made me think of actually \"performing\" teaching duties in a real classroom. It almost made it more exciting by thinking about how I would actually go about running a classroom myself. It's nice to be able to have so many resources available to teachers, but in the end, connecting with the pupils and engaging them fully in the process is not only the main goal, but imperative. Even though people should want to keep pushing themselves to not only be interested in what is going on but learning and absorbing because that is what they are there for, it doesn't always work that way. Keeping interest is paramount to success!
