In Unit 3 the main focus was on models that have influenced current teaching practices as well as the stages of a lesson. The different models focused on different practices. Some examples of these are the grammar-translation which is directly translating an english word to the native language. Anothr example of one of these models is the silent way in which the teacher remains silent and lets the students figure out and discover for themslves which I love! Lastly, the lesson covered ESA which is engage the students, study, and activate. There are different approaches to this as well which the patchwork approach and the boomerang doing the model of ESA and different orders.
