So far this was the most informative and ultimately applicable lesson in my opinion. It not only introduced me to different teaching theories but explained accessible ways for lessons to be taught that is both helpful for the teacher and informative for the student. I also enjoyed the examples of the activities that were put forth. I could see myself saving this file and using it for a long time to come. I was surprised to learnt that the teacher should only speak in English for the entirety of the lesson and not attempt to use the language of the host country. This has given me a great deal more confidence that I initially had when I first considered teaching English abroad.
