Teaching a new language is not an easy task and teachers of English as a second language need to prepare thoroughky for their lessons. In this unit I have learnt alot in relation to grammar and teaching new vocabulary.As a teacher I should prepare the students as I introduce new vocabulary paying attention to understanding the usage, exposing the students to the new vocabulary and assisting them with construction , practice and production, all these are neccesary while introducing students to new vocabulary in a manageable appropriate way.Thus as an effective teacher I should plan the structure paying attention to the students' native language especially in the early stages.
