This unit focused more on the productive skills of language, speaking and writing. This lesson and the last one are very closely related, and having a better understanding of both receptive and productive skills and their differences will help in teaching efficiency. Having guidelines on useful teaching tools such as various games, how to effectively set up a lesson, and skills to focus on in the different phases of it are all very important for understanding how to be a better teacher. Also, knowing that writing is often a more neglected skill and making sure to know to give it more attention and finding ways to integrate it into the class is very helpful for future planning.
