This unit covered the following present tenses: present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. Each type has an affirmative, negative, or question form. This unit was very helpful in breaking down the main rules for each form while also providing a lot of great examples to make the concepts very clear. The unit also covered the specific uses for each tense. This also helped make it much easier to understand the difference between the tenses. I learnt how to better explain and how to teach others when each tense is suppose to be used. I also learnt the common mistakes that students make and which type of activities are useful for practicing.
