The unit of classroom management went through many possible scenarios in which a classroom can be arranged. Knowing the importance of eye contact, gesture and voice, and when it's appropriate and inappropriate to use certain forms of each, will be extremely useful when teaching a class. It is also useful to know when it is appropriate to use the types of group work to use and how to arrange them - for example, pair work is easy to organise within the horseshoe class arrangement. This unit also went through a variety of classroom issues I may encounter and how to combat these issues - such as gaining rapport with my students and the appropriate ways to discipline the classroom.
