In unit 15 I learned about different ways of testing students. The three main types of testing are tutorials, student evaluations, and tests. The different types of tests are placement, diagnostic, periodical, practice, achievement, external exams, and proficiency tests. Each of these evaluations and tests serve a different purpose. tutorials and student evaluations, help the students go over information, and help the teacher see what needs to be improved. All of the different types of tests, excluding external exams, help the teacher gage what the students are having trouble with. External exams normally serve as a form of proof that the student can speak english proficiently.
