I liked this unit because I could see a model of a teacher performing effectively, and the significance of his energy and attitude in the class. I have focused on this in my own lesson. I liked seeing how it is possible and relatively simple to get rapport, to prompt student participation and to have fun, and the effect of teacher energy and things like smiling, clear voice, positive regard for students, using their names etc.; so it was good to see these things in action. Using video seems to be an effective way to learn teaching. I could see the things that have been taught in the course, and hwo students actually respond to them. And ways of how to implement them in practice.
