This unit covered how to teach special groups such as beginner learners, individual student classrooms, children, people who need skill in business-English, and multi-lingual/multi-cultural classrooms. For each group there were lists of advice that ranged from what the expected strengths and weaknesses are, potential problems, motivations, activities or strategies for engagement, and \"dos and don'ts\" instructional advice. The majority of my learning was constructed around the value of conducting a needs analysis at the beginning of the course; it would be an excellent guide for the teacher when determining the focus of the course and the lesson progression to achieve that goal.
