I learned that having games in every day lessons will help the students to stay motivated and interested in the topic. I also learned that in order for students to learn how to spell more, they need to read more so they have a better knowledge of the different spellings. Creative writing is also important and gets their imagination flowing in and out allows them to have a sense of pride in what they are doing. I also learned that it?s OK to do pair work with writing assignments that would normally be seen as an individual activity. Always encourage the students never put them down. Don?t focus on all the mistakes, focus on what they can improve on what they did well.
